Holiday Splendor Collection. Hand-painted Glass Ornaments were Imagined for decades and finally became a reality in 2006! Lacquered boxes have inspired this collection from the world-famous village Fedoskino, where for almost 200 years, artists have been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper-m?ch?? boxes inlaid with mother of pearl. After years of studying this technique, we established an innovative painting form that was proud to bring you our exclusive G. DeBrekht Glass ornaments. Ornaments are created on handblown 1.5 mm thin glass, like in the old times. We spray silver powder inside the glass ball and then sandblast this ball from the outside. We paint our miniatures with a combination of transparent& opaque paint with a multi-layer painting technique for a realistic, deep iridescent effect of the sun or moonlighting the landscape or beautiful scenery on our ornaments. All sides of the ornament are beautifully decorated, accented with touches of gold, finished with a lovely satin ribbon, then placed in a luxurious satin-lined box. Every ornament is an original work of art sure to be cherished by you as it becomes a family tradition“treasured by future generations.
