There are 3 main steps: Sort the cards into 4 decks (based on their theme/color) and shuffle them well. Pick the player that goes first. The player rolls the dice and picks up the card from the deck that corresponds to the symbol on the dice. The player reads the card out loud. The only cards you don’t read out loud (at least not until you want to play them) are the Trap cards. Do your task and pass the dice to the next player. Repeat steps 2 and 3. All the cards that have been played should be put on a discard pile. If you manage to get through the whole deck of a specific theme/color, just reshuffle the discard pile and play on!
